HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUCAS!! I have loved you deeply since you were born 7 years ago. I remember reading you a book when you were just a few days old, and I remember when you began loving penguins so much, and when we were neighbors we used to take you outside in your chair and do the “bumpy waddle” down the rocky alley behind your house. I love how many fun facts you remember, what a joke-ster you are, and how you are becoming an amazing poet who is especially well versed in Dino-speak. Most of all I love the way when you appreciations, you remember the fun stuff. I miss you and I’m so glad you are writing your own blogs!

Happy Birthday Lucas!!!!!! I was just at the pond at the Farm. I needed to pull something out of the water with a net and it turns out I caught something I wasn’t planning on…a big tadpole! With it’s long tail and four legs it looked kind of like a baby dinosaur so, of course, I thought of YOU!
