Sledding (January 6)
In continuing with the theme of our last post, Lucas celebrated his first real snow experience this weekend! It was amazing enough that we were able to actually get Lucas to our friends’ house in the snowy mountains near Leavenworth… but the fact that we actually went sledding was mind-blowing, something we previously thought would never be possible with Lucas.
Eli, Lily and Pax had all the additional gear we needed around the house, and with their help we rigged up an inner-tube to fit his tumble-form chair, vent, and other accessories. The rest is history…
(yes, Krista and Lucas do crash into the camerman in that last clip)

It’s been a busy holiday season for us (and, obviously for you guys too), and I haven’t been able to keep up with your updates, so it was a real delight to read the past three and hear about Lucas’s adventures with Christmas trees, Hanuka lights meetings with Santa and sledding adventures. It just made me smile to see the holiday season through his eyes! Happy New Year for all of you…I know it’s going to be a really great year for all of you. Hope to see you all more!
