“Who’s my favorite friend?” (Oct. 18)
Dad and Lucas were a little bored this morning so they decided to make a video. You can watch it in two parts below or click here if you have quicktime. (Incidentally, we got sick of all the annoying ads on Youtube which is why Lucas can be seen exclusively on Flickr now… you can check out all his photos and videos here. However, Flickr only allows 90 second videos which is why this is in two parts.)

Didn’t realize you were such an actor, Burke! However, Lucas DID fall asleep before you were done with your monologue :) Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm….

good point about the male stuffed animal personalities Jocelyn… sometimes I can’t help falling victim to my own internalized sexism. to my defense, however, the whole thing was thrown together in about an hour, and each scene was done as a single take. For his next video Lucas will be starring as Baby Boy Hanson, a sort of Robin Hood in the Children’s NICU (we’re hoping to get some of the neonatolgists to co-star.) And yes, its important to keep having fun despite all the challenges Lucas is going through…

Someday, when you complain about Lucas eating bugs, I will remind you of this video and the bad influence of Mr. Frog. I might also note, “Mr. Hanson,” that you might give one or two of the stuffed animals a female personality in your next video! :) Keep having all the fun you can!

Oh man. I forgot about Mitt. I knew Burke and Mitt did everything together, but the fact that you both had babies at the same time is amazing. Love that video and that baby boy!

Wow, you must have been bored! But I can understand that in the hospital. Does get boring. Glad you have lots of fun things to keep yourself company…and Lucas of course.
